Kenney, made contact with the left side of a tractor-trailer that was being driven by James Gatlin, 63, of Homestead, on the overpass.  As a result of this contact, the Corvette was thrown into the path of a second tractor-trailer that was being driven by Pedro Diaz, 39, of Hialeah.  The second tractor-trailer collided with the vehicle and came to rest on top of the Corvette, and Mr. Kenney was killed at the scene.
